Bible Verse For Anxiety

One of the oldest forms of human affliction is anxiety. It controls your perception of the reality around you and can combine with stress. In recent years, diagnoses for anxiety disorders have spiked.

You can find many Bible verses that can help you cope with anxiety. Many of these verses will help you relax, while others will give you confidence. For example, Psalm 145:14-16 states that God is always faithful and opens his hand to satisfy all living things.

These verses will also encourage you to put your worries in God’s hands. While you can’t stop fear from taking over, you can turn it over to the Lord. And if you are able to do that, you will be able to trust that He will be with you.

One of the most important Bible verses for healing from worry is 1 Peter 5:7. In it, you are reminded that the Lord hears your prayers and that he will not only heal you, but he will take your worries off of your shoulders.

Another of the most encouraging Bible verses for anxiety is Matthew 6:26. The passage tells you that you need not fear the storm, but you should have trust in God. When you do, you will be able to walk through the storm.

Similarly, John 14:27 states that only God can provide you with an everlasting peace. Jesus never minimized the storms that roiled his disciples. However, He did use the storm to bring them to a place of worship.
