Sound Oasis has worked with world-renowned Dr. Sound Oasis and worked with world-renowned Dr. Jeffrey Thompson to develop sleep sounds for tinnitus therapy that can mask tinnitus and help relieve tinnitus. Each 8-hour track has multiple high-frequency frequencies that are built right into the music, so they help mask the tinnitus while being tastier to listen to — during the day or to sleep at night.

Tinnitus is subjective or objective, and chronic tinnitus can cause constant irritation or permanent damage. We also have a large and growing library of natural, musical and mechanical sounds that have proven effective in providing relief for tinnitus sufferers.

Does sound therapy work for tinnitus?

If you live on a main road and long-distance traffic is a little too distracting to sleep with, or the cold winter simply doesn’t allow it, smartphone apps with sound libraries or Spotify can give you lots of pleasant nature sounds. Sound therapy has been shown to be most effective when used at a slightly quieter frequency than your tinnitus level. Some people have found that sound therapy is an excellent distraction tool, but others have actually found that it actually results in real changes in their sensitivity to hearing their tinnitus and helps them get used to it.

We planned to conduct subgroup analyses of studies using different types of sound therapy devices, for example because tinnitus is incurable, the predominant way to treat tinnitus is to mask devices that produce a constant low tone to block out the ringing sounds. Long-term data has not been presented in any of these studies, meaning that no statement can be made as to whether the effects of sound therapy will last after its use.

Table generators emit natural sounds such as rain, wind, birds, or a heartbeat to distract users from the constant ringing.
