Music therapy is an established evidence-based practice used to promote positive outcomes for patients with various illnesses and disabilities. It helps patients build coping skills, reduce anxiety and boost motivation to reach goals. The mission of the music therapy program is to create a secure and therapeutic atmosphere where patients can receive tailored music interventions in an inclusive team-oriented setting.

Artist in Residence Program: The Artist in Residence program offers art classes and bedside visits that engage and support young patients during hospital stays. By focusing on the social, emotional, and physical aspects of treatment and recovery for a child, this program helps reduce stress, anxiety, and pain.

The Canines for Kids initiative offers a unique animal-assisted therapy program to reduce stress, anxiety and pain for patients while in the hospital. Trained dogs visit patient rooms and engage them in various activities like lying down with them, taking walks together or playing fetch.
