Additionally, he holds an Adjunct Lecturer position at NYU and Columbia University, supervising clinicians from beginner to advanced practitioners in cognitive behavior therapy.

He has provided psychotherapy in a variety of settings, such as a psychotherapy training institute, community mental health clinic serving clients living with HIV/AIDS, psychiatric emergency room and mobile crisis team. Additionally, he taught in the graduate school of social work at Boston University and is now an adjunct faculty trainer and supervisor for Beck Institute for Cognitive Therapy.

She is a member of the American Counseling Association and licensed clinical psychologist with over ten years of clinical experience in this field. Her specialties include women’s health, perinatal mood disorders and anxiety.

Tara Mandel, Ph.D is a licensed psychologist and founder of Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Wellness Center. A graduate of Binghamton University and Hofstra University with her doctorate degree, Tara has over ten years of clinical research, teaching experience, program development expertise and clinical work under her belt.

Since 2002, Tara has been a licensed mental health counselor working with adults, adolescents and children alike. Her specialty lies in using evidence-based therapies to treat anxiety, depression and perinatal mood disorders; additionally she enjoys working closely with families and parenting issues.
