Holistic Physical Therapy Knoxville

Holistic physical therapy in Knoxville is an innovative form of rehabilitation that seeks to heal the body, mind and spirit. Studies have proven its efficacy in treating drug and alcohol addiction, enabling clients to return home healthier and happier after spending time at a holistic rehab facility.

This field of healthcare, often referred to as complementary or alternative medicine, is on the rise. It specializes in natural, non-invasive treatments for ailments and injuries caused by addiction–including those caused by drugs.

Holistic physical therapists in Knoxville offer a variety of treatment methods tailored to each client’s individual needs. These may include acupuncture, yoga, massage therapy, nutrition planning, animal therapy and more.

These types of therapy are frequently combined with traditional treatments to give clients the best opportunity at healing their mind, body, and spirit. They may also be utilized independently after leaving a rehabilitation facility to continue recovery progress even after they leave the facility; this type of sobriety maintenance could prove beneficial for individuals wanting to maintain sobriety outside of it.

Acupuncture is a medical practice that involves inserting needles into specific points on the body to release energy that causes pain. Studies have demonstrated its efficacy in relieving trapped energy that can cause both physical and psychological discomfort. As such, acupuncture has become an integral component of many holistic rehab programs at Tennessee Valley Recovery, where clients may use it as part of their treatment plans.
