What is sound healing therapy?

Because sound vibrations profoundly affect the brain, brainwave patterns often change to match specific aspects of sound vibrations, including pitches and sound sequences. One remarkable (and maybe even cool) reality of sound healing is that it’s accessible to everyone and you can practice it however you want. If groups aren’t your thing and you prefer private lessons, you can also book a private sound healing session with a trained practitioner who plays instruments such as Tibetan singing bowls or voice forms and can bathe you in the sounds. During a sound healing session, often known as a sound bath, you lie down on the floor or a yoga mat, sometimes snuggle up with a warm blanket and simply listen as a practitioner plays various instruments as you “bathe” in the soothing sounds and vibrations.
