Maybe I can get 8 hours of sleep on a whim one day, but right now it appears that either I’m doing SRT or my sleep is getting out of control. Forget everything else if you manage to survive the sleep restriction. Restricted sleep is, in my opinion, the strongest part of CBT-i. My sleep doctor told me the biggest advice she could give me is to get out of bed if I don’t sleep in 15 minutes.
