Somatic Therapy Portland

Somatic therapy portland haes is a type of trauma healing and body-based psychotherapy that links mental health issues with physical symptoms. In this form of therapy, the psychotherapist utilizes specialized techniques designed to release suppressed emotions and sensations.

Somatherapy portland haes is founded on the idea that mind and body are intrinsically linked, especially during stressful or traumatic events in life. This may be especially true for individuals suffering from anxiety, depression or chronic pain.

This approach can be beneficial in several ways, such as relieving stress, relieving anxiety and relieving PTSD and depression symptoms. Furthermore, it could potentially alleviate symptoms related to chronic illnesses like fibromyalgia or migraines.

A trained somatic therapist can assess the body for signs of pain, inflammation or other distressing symptoms that could indicate an unbalanced brain state. After that, they will provide guidance to their client in healing their mind-body relationship in a secure and healthy manner.

At Somatherapy Portland, we understand how difficult it can be to decide which approach of somatic therapy is right for you. With our variety of practitioners on-hand, you are sure to find the support that’s just right for you.
