Tapping Therapy For Pain Relief

Tapping Therapy For Pain Relief

Tapping is an energy healing therapy that utilizes your body’s meridians of energy. Similar to acupuncture, tapping uses acupressure points to heal stress, pain, anxiety, depression, phobias and trauma by stimulating certain energy meridians within you.

People suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) can use EMDR to free themselves of memories they may not be able to forget and heal emotionally from emotional pain and discomfort. This holistic, body-centric approach is becoming increasingly popular as a treatment option.

Starting tapping therapy for pain relief: Take a deep breath and identify the issue you wish to focus on. Rate the intensity of any discomfort or anxiety experienced on a scale from one to ten; use this number as your gauge throughout each session as progress is measured.

Select a specific meridian point to tap on and repeat the tapping sequence repeatedly. Your body will respond by releasing tension in these acupoints.

Once you’ve tapped on each of the nine meridian points, you can begin to feel the effects of relaxation as your body releases tension from its acupoints. Some people report feelings of lightness or peace after doing this exercise. If unsure where to begin with tapping, a professional can assist in identifying which acupoints and sequence works best for each individual.

Start by watching a video or doing some self-guided tapping to get acquainted with the technique. Be consistent and try to tap daily if possible; it may take some time for this method to work its magic.

The key to successful EFT is consistency – consistently working with the emotion or issue you are focusing on while being mindful of what you say as you tap. An experienced EFT practitioner can assist with this, but even self-guided practices can be effective if done consistently and regularly.

Your tapping partner or facilitator can also assist in clearing away subconscious limiting beliefs that are holding you back, so that you can step into your truth. You have the option to tap with them either face-to-face or online.

Self-healing with marijuana is a powerful and safe option, although some medical conditions should not be used with it.

People with seizures or cancer should not use this therapy. Furthermore, those who have pacemakers should exercise caution.

Although acupuncture can help relieve pain, it is not a primary treatment method and does not address the underlying causes of chronic illness. Nonetheless, it offers an alternative to painkillers and serves as an excellent addition to any medical treatment plan you are working on.

The advantages of tapping for mental health are plentiful and can be seamlessly incorporated into existing treatment plans. It’s a non-invasive, non-pharmacological method that anyone can learn and use with often positive changes occurring after just a few sessions. Tapping can be an invaluable addition to therapeutic regimens, particularly for those who have been in therapy for years without seeing progress or improvement.
