Speech apraxia is a disorder in which the speaker has difficulty planning the movements required to speak in a coordinated manner. With moderate nasality or moderate denasality, the nasal resonance disorder is less pronounced. With moderate nasality or moderate denasality, the nasal resonance disorder is less pronounced. Similarly, in cases of mild nasality or mild denasality, the nasal resonance disorder deviates slightly from normal.

The

nasal resonance distortion results from a resonance disorder that is not related to laryngeal function. Resonance refers to the amplification of sound energy through a cavity or chamber.

Normal resonance has a certain range of acceptance and is perceived along a continuum (Peterson Falzone, Hardin-Jones, %26 Karnell, 20. Prosthetic management is used to correct resonance problems that lead to hypernasality when surgical options are not available or when the person is unable or unwilling to undergo surgery. If the sound of your voice has a good balance between oral and nasal sounds, this is considered normal resonance.
