What is vibrational sound healing?

If groups aren’t your thing and you prefer private lessons, you can also book a private sound healing session with a trained practitioner who plays instruments such as Tibetan singing bowls or voice forms and can bathe you in the sounds. The practice, also known as vibrational medicine, uses the vibrations of the human voice as well as resonating objects — tuning forks, gongs, Tibetan singing bowls — to go beyond relaxation and stimulate healing. Roxie Sarhangi, a certified sound healing practitioner based in Los Angeles, describes it as a meditative acoustic sound concert. While many people are just discovering it, sound healing is actually a return to old cultural practices that used songs and singing bowls to restore health and reduce pain.
