What does sound healing do?

Sound healing is the use of specific instruments, music, sounds, and other sound vibrations to balance and heal the body, mind, and spirit. Sound helps you find your way to this place of silence, just as a mantra helps you get to the stillness point of meditation. Add to that the fact that the sound healing industry isn’t exactly regulated, and you’ll find plenty of practitioners surrounded by singing bowls and promising all kinds of high standards. In this place of silence, you participate by becoming more open and aware of every sound that comes in.

The same concept is used in meditation by regulating the breath, but in the case of sound, it is the frequency that influences the shift.
