Bilateral music is used as part of EMDR therapy (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing). The dawn of a new day.

And after following the music or sounds from side to side, as I mentioned earlier, my problems feel farther away, like they can’t get through to me right now. An EMDR therapist therefore uses bilateral stimulation (in various methods) to activate this natural process in the brain, with the aim of activating both sides of the brain. Bilateral music, used in therapies such as EMDR and Brainspotting, is specifically designed to move from one ear to the other.
