What is Tibetan sound healing?

If you hit a singing bowl and listen carefully, you’ll notice that the sound is slightly different with each beat, but also consists of thinner layers of sound harmonics. Tibetan sound healing is an ancient healing method that uses the deep vibrations and soothing sounds of Tibetan singing bowls to alleviate many different ailments and stress-related conditions. UCLA, which offers a music therapy treatment program, cites research showing that sound therapy can improve both physiological symptoms and mental health. The sounds of the singing bowls used during a sound meditation influence the frequencies of the brain waves and help the brain reach the theta state (4-8 Hz).

What are the 6 healing sounds of qigong?

I still remember the profound experience of exploring these sounds for the first time in a Chi Nei Tsang training session. The Six Healing Sounds gently vibrate and massage internal organs, removing stagnation and spent energy from the body, reducing stress and anxiety and harmonizing emotions to create a state of inner peace. It has been passed down through many generations and is used today, as in ancient times, to restore health and achieve a long life. The book contains history, theory, and inspiring stories of people who have practised this ancient healing qigong.
