Holistic therapies such as yoga and meditation are becoming more and more popular as a means to help people heal from emotional issues and reduce stress. They’re generally safe and effective, making them suitable for use either instead of or alongside more conventional treatments.

Yoga is a practice that uses postures (asanas) with breathing exercises to relax the body and focus the mind. According to research published in 2021, it can improve overall health by relieving symptoms of anxiety, stress and depression.

Yin Yoga is a type of yoga that emphasizes poses that stretch the connective tissues within the body. With its slow pace and meditative atmosphere, it’s perfect for those seeking to de-stress or recover from illness or injury.

Jesicca Aloha is an experienced yoga teacher and holistic health coach with over 10 years of expertise. Her specialty lies in helping individuals build strength, balance, and a sense of well-being through movement, yoga, breath work, and meditation – tools she loves to use to empower her clients on their wellness journeys.

Gabrielle believes that every movement and breath are opportunities to grow as a person. She enjoys leading her students through intuitive, playful, and therapeutic classes that encourage them to discover the countless transformations taking place within.

Mari is a high school English teacher by day and passionate yoga student and teacher by night. Having practiced this ancient artform for over a decade, she believes it to be an incredibly healing gift that can transform and heal body, mind, and spirit. Yoga offers the perfect balance of freedom and grounding; playfulness and focus; strength and softness. Mari cherishes this amazing combination.

Marieke is a Certified Yin Yoga Teacher and Yinspiration Trainer who completed her 200hr Yin Training with Jo Phee in Bali, but continues to learn from various Yin teachers around the world. Additionally, she’s trained as a massage therapist, utilizing both eastern and western techniques for healing purposes.

Yin & Juice is the brainchild of two new age peasants who share their knowledge on physical, mental and emotional wellbeing. Each month they bring you an exclusive yoga class featuring a guest Yin & Juice instructor plus an open juice bar to relax after each class.

Lauren’s love of movement inspired her to pursue a career as an aerial and yoga instructor in Costa Rica in 2016. Since then, she has been teaching both techniques in San Diego with the goal of helping others strengthen, rebalance and enjoy their bodies.

Mikhayla discovered Yin yoga in Albuquerque, NM and is passionate about helping her students release tension from their bodies through slow, deep stretching. She finds the Yin philosophy and approach to yoga deeply refreshing as it allows her to explore deeper layers of herself; which has inspired her to share this gentle form of yoga with others.
